Oriental Cabbage Salad

I made this for a BBQ and it was a hit!! These girls AND GUYS asked for the recipe! Well the guys asked me to give the recipe to their wives :).  Here it is!



Salad:
1 T evoo
¼ C butter
2 pkg beef ramen noodles
1 C chopped green onion
½ C almond slivers
1 small head of cabbage

Dressing:
½ C evoo
1 T soy sauce
½ C sugar
1/3 C rice vinegar

Brown evoo, butter, crushed ramen noodles, green onion, and almond in skillet. Slice cabbage in to fine shreds. When browned toss with cabbage in a large bowl. Mix dressing well and toss with cabbage just before serving.  If you have one of those nifty salad dressing cups that is measure and has a lid.. this is the time to use it!!

***Edit*** I forgot to say that you need to add the beef seasoning packets to the ramen noodles after they are browned in the skillet. Adds a nice flavor.
